The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance (AVA)
Uniting a global network of small to mid-sized wine regions to exchange industry best practices and foster innovation through collaboration.
The Global Artisan Vintners Alliance (AVA) promotes collaboration between winemakers, wine associations, winery owners and operators, agri-tourism and economic development organizations, and government representatives.
About Us
We strive for a united and supported global network of small to mid-sized wine regions with artisan vintners that produce exceptional terroir-driven wines. We envision a thriving and inclusive global wine economy that strengthens locally owned & operated wineries and fosters enhanced agri-tourism to lesser-known wine regions. Through collaboration and shared passion, the voices of artisan vintners are elevated and the world is brought closer to the heart of the vine & the vintner.
The Global AVA was established in 2025 to create a beneficial and sustainable alliance of partner wine regions across the globe.
The Global AVA promotes collaboration and exchange of information between winemakers, wine associations, government representatives, tourism and economic development organizations, and business associations. Representatives of the partner wine regions actively participate in professional development opportunities through discussions about winemaking techniques and sustainability methods, student and professional intern exchanges, and sharing of best practices around economic development, agri-tourism and marketing initiatives to elevate the global presence of the participating wine regions, among other opportunities.
